Last week or so, Oprah had Al Gore on to talk about global warming and An Inconvenient Truth.
It was an interesting and a sobering show.
Kudos to both of them for continuing to fight the good fight for us all. But we can't help thinking, isn't it a little hypocritical to keep telling us 'little folks' what we can do to help the planet when they fly around daily in private jets? (Airplane exhaust being one of the biggest contributors to pollution out there.)
Support the film -- 5% of its profits along with 100% of Al Gore's profits will go to The Alliance for Climate Protection, a nonpartisan organization to fight global warming.
On August 4th Paramount Classics announced that the film had grossed over $20 million in profits which makes their donation to fight global warming exceed $1 million. Amazing what we can do.
